If you wish to, you can now use the internet to book some appointments with a GP, request repeat prescriptions for any medications you take regularly and look at your medical record online. When ordering repeat medication online we require 72 working hours notice from point of ordering to collection.

How to register for Patient Access

Patient Access is a great online service which allows you to book appointments, order repeat prescriptions and view your medical records. The services is open 24/7/365 and can be accessed from your home PC, Tablet or Mobile phone.

Register from home 

You can register for this service online without visiting your practice by clicking here . This method creates a basic account that allows you to order medication, view your allergies and in certain cases book one appointment. If you wish to have detailed access to your record, please follow the instructions titled 'Register at the Surgery in Person' 

Step 1: Enter your post code and click Search.

Step 2: Select your practice and click Continue.

Step 3: Click No to having a registration letter and then click Continue.

Step 3: Enter your personal details and click Continue to complete the registration process.

A the end of the registration, please remember to write down your User ID as you will need this to access your Patient Access account.

 

Register at the surgery in person

Step 1. Read these information leafelets Protecting your GP online records.pdf and What you need to know.pdf

Step 2. download, print and complete our Application for online access to my medical record.pdf

Step 3 Visit the practice in person and hand to reception your completed application form. Please confirm with our reception team that you've read the information leaflet.

Please note that we also have copies of the application form and information leaflet at reception if you are unable to download, print and complete it 

Step 4 Show your two forms of Identification: One photo ID such as passport, drivers licence,  and one form of ID with your home address on such as a bank statement. If you do not have any form of identification,please speak to the reception staff. 

Once you have completed the above steps, we will be in touch when your access details are ready for collection. 

When you have completed the registration online with your online access details from the surgery, you will have full access to all the online services you requested.
